Glynn Vivian

The Glynn Vivian Art Gallery is Swansea’s leading art institution, showcasing an extensive collection of artworks spanning centuries. The gallery was founded in 1911 through the bequest of art collector Richard Glynn Vivian, and today it serves as a dynamic space for exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement.

The gallery houses both historical collections and contemporary pieces, including works by Welsh artists as well as international figures. It regularly hosts temporary exhibitions, events, and educational programmes designed to inspire a love for the arts in people of all ages.
